Absolute Units: Check Out These Pictures of Unusually Large Things to Brighten your Day

The Dutch Giant

It’s easy to assume that this is an optical illusion. But rest assured, it’s not. The Dutch Giant? Have you heard of him? Let us enlighten you. The Guinness Book of World Records named this man, Olivier Richters, from the Netherlands as the tallest professional non-competitive bodybuilder ever in 2021.

He is above 300 pounds and has a height of seven feet, almost two inches. Perhaps you recognize him from the film “Black Widow” as Ursa Major. Here, the bodybuilding icon is pictured in a McDonald’s in the Philippines, and it’s amusing to see the employees’ expressions. But honestly, what we want to know is what he ordered.

Long Live, Patrick

If you don’t reside in Australia, there’s a strong chance you’ve never seen a wombat, a mammal with short legs that typically weighs between 44 to 77 pounds on average. But just one of the large wombats in existence is a renowned absolute unit on a global scale. He goes by Patrick.

Patrick, the wombat, was a celebrity animal in Australia because of his exceptional size and longevity. Sadly, the endearing marsupial passed away in 2017, having lived in the Ballarat Wildlife Park for most of its life. However, he lived life to the fullest, around ten years longer than the average wombat.

He’s a Big Boy!

The love between a man and a dog is unbreakable, regardless of the size of your cherished pet dog—whether he is tiny enough to fit in your purse or enormous enough to make for an absolute unit. There is nothing monstrous about this fluffy, devoted companion’s loving eyes, watchful posture, or gorgeous fur, despite the fact that he is a monster-sized dog.

If anything, the dog’s love and affection for their humans are enormous, like his size. The look on the man’s face speaks of pride and love for his pet, while that of the dog suggests, “I’m not that heavy! Why can’t I sit on your lap?” Adorable!
