There was no question which dog the Anderson family would adopt as they immediately fell in love with a particular puppy’s ocean blue eyes. In hindsight, they probably shouldn’t have been so eager about the adoption because it wasn’t just any random dog they ended up taking home.

However, there is no way they could have forecasted the series of events that happened next. The fact that the story behind that dog only came to light when the vet got in touch with the police. It turned out that the family had gotten a lot more than they bargained for.

Why Were The Police Involved?

Neither Billy nor Erica knew what to make of it. When the vet took their dog away, he didn’t say a word to them. So what was going on? Could the weird behavior they experienced the previous night have something to do with this? Or was there something else going on?

Within ten minutes of leaving the waiting room, the vet returned. However, the dog was not with him. Even before they could question him about the dog’s whereabouts, the vet told them that he had just called the cops and that they were on their way there. Erica and Billy were confused.
