Whether you agree with Barack Obama’s politics or not, you have to admit he’s one of the most influential political figures in the whole of Western democracy. The 46th President of the United States, Obama, made history in 2009 by becoming the first African-American to make it to the top seat of the White House.

He served for two terms and was widely considered to be a popular politician, in and outside of the U.S. He left the job in 2017 and was succeeded by Donald Trump. Since then, he’s been mostly spending time with his family. His latest public appearance happened in 2021, during Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration.
