Throughout the ’70s and ’80s, Christie Brinkley was a famous model who graced the covers of numerous publications, most notably Sports Illustrated and its accompanying calendar. She had been modeling for some time before those covers, but they propelled her to the supermodel level she still holds.

Brinkley became well-known as the face of CoverGirl for over 20 years, in addition to her other accomplishments in the world of modeling, acting, and entrepreneurship. While she may not be as ubiquitous in the media as she once was, the mother of three is still a part of the show business world.
