Fans of the long-running ‘90s sitcom Friends are still devastated about the loss of Matthew Perry, renowned for his portrayal of the witty Chandler Bing. The actor passed away at his Los Angeles residence on Oct. 28 at 54 years old.

Following his passing, an eerie scene resurfaced that had many fans calling for its removal from streaming platforms due to it foreshadowing the circumstances of the actor’s death.

The scene in question, which has over 13.9 million views on TikTok, shows Monica—portrayed by Courteney Cox—and Chandler posing together for their wedding announcement photos.

As Chandler is struggling to relax and smile naturally for the shot, his fiancée asks: “What is the matter with your face? Like, this picture is supposed to say, ‘Geller and Bing to be married’. Not ‘local woman saves drowning moron.’”

When the photographer laughs at Monica’s joke, she quickly tells him off. Protective of her soon-to-be husband, the brunette says, “Hey, don’t laugh at him! He’s my drowning moron!” which temporarily causes Chandler’s facial expression to relax.

Perry was found unresponsive at his home after an alleged drowning incident in his hot tub. LAPD authorities arrived at his residence at 4 AM after receiving a call from the actor’s address regarding the death of a man in his fifties.

It was reported that no drugs were found at the scene, and there was no indication of foul play.

“Oh, this doesn’t feel right. I know we were going to lose celebs and actors who played beloved characters. It feels like it’s too soon,” one devastated fan commented on the clip showing the scene.

“Words are powerful… they cast spells,” another wrote.

A third person asked: “Will they now remove this scene from Netflix?”

Another strange situation that seemingly foreshadowed Perry’s passing was his last Instagram post which shows him relaxing in the outdoor hot tub where he allegedly breathed his last.

“Oh, so warm water swirling around you makes you feel good? I’m Mattman,” the Friends star captioned the photo in which he posed gazing at the LA skyline, the moon beaming over him.

The late actor spoke candidly about his decades-long struggles with alcoholism and opioid abuse, stating that he wanted his legacy to be linked to his efforts to help those living with addiction.

During a 2022 interview to promote his memoir, he said: “I would like to be remembered as somebody who lived well, loved well, was a seeker, and his paramount thing is that he wants to help people. That’s what I want.”

While some creeped out fans asked for the scene to be removed, others argued that Perry would’ve liked to keep it
