COREY HARRISON – 40, PAWN STARS
At his heaviest, Corey Harrison from Pawn Stars weighed 402 lbs. When his doctor prescribed preventative diabetes medication in 2010, it served as a wake-up call for him. Immediately after the doctor’s visit, Harrison underwent lap band surgery, despite the financial strain, as he was determined to avoid diabetes.
Following the gastric band procedure, Harrison lost 50 lbs. within the first six weeks and a total of 100 lbs. within the first year. This transformation made him realize the importance of his diet and lifestyle choices. Now weighing 210 lbs., Harrison maintains a healthier lifestyle, regularly attending gym sessions and engaging in activities like boxing and snowboarding.
His weight loss journey also influenced his co-star Austin ‘Chumlee’ Russell, who went from 320 lbs. to 225 lbs. Russell credits his success to eliminating processed foods and adopting a motto of “everything in moderation.”
Their slimmed-down appearances have been noticed by fans of Pawn Stars, who often commend them on their weight loss and improved looks.
