Janis Paige comes from a time before film schools became a thing when being discovered was the way for aspiring actresses and singers to make it to the top. Paige was similarly discovered at Hollywood Canteen during the Second World War by a Warner Bros. agent.

ast forward around eight decades and Paige now has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, along with a reputation as one of the most versatile actresses of her time, thanks to her impressive singing skills. She last appeared in an episode of  Family Law back in 2001.
