Matthew Labyorteaux, rose to fame as a child actor. He had the spotlight cast on him at the age of five with appearances in “I Love Lucy.” At the time, he was two years into the biz, having ventured into showbiz as a drummer attached to the Horace Heidt Orchestra. Touring with the musical collective impressively earned the three-year-old $500.
Decades later, Keith stands as the only living “I Love Lucy” cast member. In 1994 he shared his experiences working on the show through the biography “Life After Lucy.” Keith slowed down on the acting front and in 1990, he joined the Ballet Magnificat!, a company his wife Kathy Denton operates, as the Executive Director.
