Richard Dean Anderson is a multi-talented man. He is a successful composer, actor, and T.V. producer. Anderson has journeyed quite a career since his debut in General Hospital, a post he secured from 1976 through to 1981. He received his education through St. Cloud State University and also through Ohio University. One of his most recognizable credits is for playing the titular role in MacGyver, a hit T.V. show between 1985 and 1992.
Anderson has seen his acting portfolio grow over his years in the industry. He has acted in several productions, including Through the Eyes of a Killer, the Stargate franchise, and in Firehouse. Anderson is more than a celebrity actor – he is also a skilled executive producer. He enjoys credit for co-creating the Gekko Film Corporation.
