Shonda Rhimes – $25 Million (Los Angeles)

Just like her track record with TV shows, Shonda Rhimes’ home is massive and imposing. The creator of ‘Scandal’ and ‘Private Practice’ owns the house in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles- it has seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, three levels, and is built on 1.14 acres of land.

The house was initially built in 1923 and got redesigned by Rhimes along with architect Bill Baldwin. Michael S. Smith, who designed the interiors for the White House, was employed to decorate the mansion. Rhimes describes the home as “classic California- is a little bit Romantic,” and the wood-and-cream accents indeed show a home warm enough to live in.
