Jodie Whittaker – Between £200K to £249,999

“Doctor Who” is such a cult classic that its actors have raked in significant amounts in playing the Time Lord. While all stars who played the titular character were men in the past, the 13th Doctor was Jodie Whittaker, the first actress to have done so. For this, she was said to demand the same pay as her predecessor, Peter Capaldi.

Speaking about this to Radio Times, Whittaker confirmed this was true but expressed surprise at how shocked people were about her request. Of course, this speaks volumes about how women are trying to close the pay gap between male and female stars.
