Tammy Duckworth & Bryan Bowlsbey – Married For 28 Years

The inspiring Tammy Duckworth made the most out of Valentine’s Day to share a picture of her wedding on Instagram. It showed the U.S. senator from Illinois next to a young Bryan Bowlsbey. The two lovebirds, who tied the knot in 1993, met when they were both reserve officers’ training corps cadets.

Before joining the world of politics, Duckworth fought in the Iraq War, where she tragically lost both her legs. But she never allowed that incident to put her down, and she’s been an extremely productive member of the Democratic Party ever since she came back home. Duckworth and Bowlsbey have two children together.
