Meredith Baxter is an actress and producer known for her roles in different sitcoms of the ’70 and ’80s, including ABC’s “Family,” CBS’s “Bridget Loves Bernie,” and NBC’s “Family Ties.” Throughout her five-decade career, she has been nominated five times for Emmy Awards, including one for her starring role as the titular character in the 1992 movie “A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story.”
The California-born actress followed in her mother’s footsteps, a well-known actress and producer as well, Whitney Blake. Since the 21st century began, she has become a less frequent face on our screens, although appearing more in TV commercials and talk shows.
