Kristy McNichol – 1962
Kristy McNichol, who will be turning fifty-three this year, is an actress-comedian who has also gone into the areas of producing and music. She made her leap into the entertainment industry via various roles in several TV series and films. The most notable of these was her portrayal of the character Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence in the series, which was entitled “Family.” By this role, she was able to win a couple of major acting awards. However, she decided to withdraw from the business in the year 2001.
McNichol was able to make the transition from a public to a private lifestyle after a lot of careful and deliberate thinking. Once she was in retirement, Kristy spent most of her time teaching the art of acting in a particular private school, which was in Los Angeles. Not only that, but she also works for different charity advocacies.
