Ralph Carter – 1961
Everyone remembers Ralph Carter from the CBS sitcom “Good Times,” which aired between 1974 and 1979. Carter made a name for himself as an actor and singer. Even before “Good Times,” he was featured in the Broadway musical titled “Raisin” and was awarded as the Most Promising Performer.
Carter’s career started when he was only nine and lasted less than two decades. During that time, in addition to his acting, he recorded a music album titled “Young and in Love.” Two songs from that album, “When You’re Young and in Love” and “Extra, Extra (Read All About It),” became chart hits at number ten and 12, respectively.
