Alan Arkin and Adam Arkin

Alan Arkin has been part of the entertainment industry for more than 60 years. The American director and screenwriter aspired to be a famous actor since the tender age of only 10. He achieved his dreams and reached high success. In 1955, Alan married his ex-wife Jeremy Yaffe.  The couple had two children, Michael and Adam Arkin. After only five years of marriage, the couple went their separate ways. He has regular contact with his son through the phone.

Adam, 62, followed in his dad’s footsteps and started acting at a young age. He inherited his father’s talent and appeared in many high profile TV shows, including Northern Exposure and How to Get Away With Murder. Alan has once joked in a Cape Breton interview that Adam is his friend who also calls him my son, to which Adam replied, “It’s only to get into restaurants.” The playful joke between the father and son shows how much they are alike and how much fun they have together. The successful father and son pair appear on red carpets together and spends a lot of time together off-camera.

Christiana Barkley – Charles Barkley

You probably know Christiana Barkley as the daughter of former NBA star Charles Barkley, who is currently an analyst at Inside the NBA. He was an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA selection, and was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1993. On the NBA’s 50th anniversary, Barkley was named one of the league’s 50 greatest players.

In honor of the league’s 75th anniversary, he was also named one of the 75 greatest players in NBA history. His daughter, Christiana Barkley, followed her dream, entering journalism in 2016 with a degree in journalism from Columbia University.

Christiana Barkley’s mother, Maureen Blumhardt is a model and social worker. Although her parents separated after 25 years of marriage, they were with their daughter every day. Well, we hope Christina continues to shine in her career and make her parents proud.

Ella and Alexander Clooney – George Clooney

George Clooney, the Up in The Air actor, and Amal Clooney are proud parents of their adorable twins Alexander and Ella whom they welcomed in June 2017. They have been very candid about how they felt when they became proud parents.

George and Amal first met when they were vacationing in Lake Como, Italy, in July 2013. Soon after, they tied the knot in September 2014, and in 2017, they became parents to Elsa and Alexander.

Although initially George was scared as any other newbie dad would be who didn’t know exactly how to shoulder the responsibility, soon he became a pro and now he is a whole new person – more empathetic and compassionate about other people’s predicament. Fatherhood has surely been one of the most enriching experiences ever for him.
